Privacy Policy
What the player processes, why it needs it, and the controls available to you.
1. Who handles your information
Streamfinitytv is the operator of this app. Contact contact@streamfinitytv.app about privacy, access, correction or deletion requests. This notice covers the player; connected providers and external services have their own notices.
2. Information you provide
We process your account email, password hash, profile names and preferences. If you choose Google sign-in when enabled, we receive your verified email address and Google account identifier to create or recognise your account; we do not receive your Google password. When you connect a source, we process its URL or uploaded playlist file, any provider username/password you enter, and an optional TV guide URL. Provider connection details are encrypted on the library server; saved passwords are not displayed in the interface.
3. Contact requests
When you use the contact or report form, we store your name, email address and message in our support inbox, along with its submission time and handling status. Reports also include your selected issue type and any title, content reference or device information you provide. Authorised administrators can review these details to handle your request. Please do not include passwords or private playlist links. Contact us to request access, correction or deletion of a support message or report.
4. Library and playback information
The server imports catalogue and programme metadata to organise your library. Favourites, viewing progress, watch history and settings are associated with your profile when those features are enabled. Security and import records help diagnose failed connections, protect accounts and operate the service.
5. Why we process it
We use this information to provide sign-in, import your sources, resolve playback, restore your library and preferences, and secure and maintain the player. We process information to deliver the service you request, for security and operational interests where permitted, and to meet applicable legal obligations. Optional processing that requires consent will be presented separately.
6. Providers and other recipients
Connecting a provider sends the requests necessary for catalogue imports, guide updates and playback. Providers, stream hosts and artwork hosts may receive request and connection information, including an IP address. The library’s hosting, database and email services process data as needed to run the deployment. We do not include advertising trackers or third-party analytics in this app build, and do not sell your personal information.
7. Storage and retention
Account and library data are retained while needed to provide your saved library. Signing out ends the current session but does not delete your account. Removing a playlist deletes its app library, favourites and progress; account deletion removes the account and associated profiles and playlists. Security audit events may remain without the deleted account reference. Backup and server-log retention depend on the hosting deployment; contact us for the retention arrangements that apply to your account.
8. Your controls and requests
Manage profiles in Account and viewing preferences in Settings. You can remove playlists or delete your account through the app. You may also use our account deletion page. You may also contact contact@streamfinitytv.app to request access, correction, a copy, deletion or other rights available under applicable law. We may need to verify your identity. Depending on your location, you may raise a concern with the relevant data-protection authority.
9. Devices, locations and changes
Browser preferences are stored on your device; native sessions use the platform’s session storage. The server location and any international transfers depend on the deployment and your selected providers. Contact us for details before connecting a source if this matters to you. We will update this notice when our processing changes.
